Rice Soup
Ingredients
- 4 ounce Patna rice
- 1 quart stock
- salt
- cayenne pepper
- pounded mace, to taste
Directions
- Throw the rice into boiling water and let it remain five minutes, then pour it into a sieve and allow it to drain well.
- Now add it to the stock boiling and stew till quite tender, season to taste and serve quickly.
