Quick Carrot and Turnip Soup
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon onion
- 2 tablespoon fat
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1 quart milk
- 1 cup grated, ground or finely chopped carrots, or turnips
- salt
- pepper
Directions
- Cook onion in fat for a few minutes.
- Stir in flour.
- Add milk and carrots or turnips.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir well and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
