Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sift together flour and salt and mix with milk.
  2. Add the two eggs, well beaten and the melted butter.
  3. Then beat with egg beater for five minutes.
  4. Pour into hot, greased popover pans—the heavy iron sort.
  5. Bake for twenty or twenty-five minutes in a very hot oven.
  6. Do not open door for the first fifteen minutes of baking.
  7. After that reduce the heat in the oven.
