Meat Fritters

Yield: 6 - 8 servings

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Work the flour quite smooth with the water, add the butter just slightly melted, and stir in the whites of the eggs well beaten up.
  2. Cut the meat thin, season with pepper and salt, mix it with the batter, drop a small quantity at a time into a frying-pan of boiling lard, and fry for six or seven minutes.
  3. Brown both sides.
