Hot Ale Punch
Ingredients
- 1 quart old ale
- 1 pint boiling water
- 1/4 pint rum
- 1/4 pint whisky
- 1/4 pint gin
- sugar, to taste
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 pinch cloves
- 1 thinly sliced lemon, to decorate
Directions
- Put all the ingredients into a large saucepan and bring to boiling point.
- Strain the mixture into a punch bowl, and decorate with a few thinly cut slices of lemon.
