Hominy with Cheese



  1. Make a sauce of the milk, flour, and butter.
  2. When it thickens add cheese cut fine.
  3. Remove from the fire and stir carefully while the cheese melts.
  4. Too much heat will make it curdle.
  5. Mix with the hominy, that has been heated before mixing and serve at once, or if desired sprinkle with buttered crumbs and bake just enough to brown crumbs.
