Fruit Cocktail Torte

Yield: 6 - 8 servings



  1. Mix together flour, sugar, egg, soda, salt and drained fruit cocktail.
  2. Place in ungreased 8-inch square pan.
  3. On top of this spread a mixture of the brown sugar and nuts.
  4. Bake in moderately slow oven (300 degrees) one hour.
  5. When cool, cut in squares and serve with whipped cream.
