Dormers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cold mutton
  • 4 ounce beef suet
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 1/2 pound boiled rice
  • 1 egg
  • bread crumbs
  • gravy, or soup of any kind

Directions

  1. Chop the meat, suet and rice fine, and mix with pepper and salt; roll like sausages in egg and breadcrumbs, and fry in dripping till brown.
  2. Serve in a dish with mashed potatoes round them, and pour on some hot gravy.
