Currant Soy
Ingredients
- 5 pound stemmed currants
- 3 pound brown sugar
- 1 pint cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
Directions
- Put all in a preserving kettle over a moderate fire; cook three hours from the time the fruit begins to boil.
- Stir frequently to prevent burning.
- Keep in glass jars.
- Excellent with meat.
