Chili Con Carne II

Ingredients

  • 2 pound ground round steak
  • 3 Bermuda onions
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 small bean garlic
  • piece of butter, twice the size of walnut
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cup boiling water

Directions

  1. Mix round steak thoroughly with one cup of flour and salt and pepper to taste.
  2. When the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, brown in a skillet with the butter, and the onions, chopped fine.
  3. After it begins to brown add garlic cut up and chili powder and boiling water.
  4. Cook slowly for one hour, stirring often.
  5. When it is cooked serve over plain boiled rice.
  6. The real chili pepper may be used instead of powder if one desires a very hot dish.
