Whole Wheat Cereal Cookies

Yield: 7 dozen, 1 3/4 inches in diameter

Directions

  1. Cream shortening.
  2. Add sugar gradually and continue creaming until free from sugar granules.
  3. Add beaten eggs, then the cooked cereal.
  4. Sift flour, then measure.
  5. Resift with salt, spices, baking powder and soda.
  6. Add to the first mixture.
  7. Add raisins with last few stirs.
  8. Drop from a teaspoon onto a greased baking sheet.
  9. Bake in a hot oven (400f) about 15 minutes.
