Sulc (Pork Loaf)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash all meat well.
  2. Cover with water.
  3. Add salt.
  4. Boil all together until done but not too soft.
  5. If liquid boils down too much, add more water.
  6. You should have at least 3 cups liquid when cooked.
  7. Remove meat and remove bones, peel tongue, and cut all into about salt if needed.
  8. Add pepper, onion (finely chopped) and vinegar.
  9. Place the chopped meat into the liquid and again bring to a boil.
  10. Pour into a deep bowl and place in the refrigerator to set.
  11. Serve cold, sliced, with vinegar.
  12. This may also be placed into fruit jars and sealed.
  13. It may be kept in a cold place indefinitely.
