Soda Biscuits

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt into mixing bowl.
  2. Cut in shortening until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
  3. Combine vinegar and milk blend thoroughly.
  4. Add to flour mixture.
  5. Stir lightly until flour is dampened.
  6. Turn onto floured board.
  7. Knead 10 times.
  8. Roll about one-half inch thick.
  9. Cut with small biscuit cutter.
  10. Place on baking sheet 1 inch apart.
  11. Bake in hot oven, 450f, 12 to 15 minutes,.
