Orange Nut Bread

Directions

  1. Cut oranges with rind left on-into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Cover with water boil 10 minutes, drain.
  3. Save liquid.
  4. Add raisins to orange pulp, blend thoroughly.
  5. Place medium blade m food grinder.
  6. Grind fruits.
  7. Combine flour, graham flour, baking powder, salt, sugar.
  8. Blend thoroughly- do not sift.
  9. Gradually add fruits to dry ingredients, stirring constantly.
  10. Add egg, beat vigorously, dissolve baking soda in orange iiquid.
  11. There should be one cup of, liquid.
  12. Add water, if necessary.
  13. Gradually add iiquid to dry ingredients, beating vigorously.
  14. Add vanilla, nuts.
  15. Blend thoroughly.
  16. Pour into well-oiled pan-bake fifty minutes, 350 degrees.
