Ginger Cookies

Directions

  1. Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
  2. Add egg and molasses.
  3. Beat well.
  4. Add vinegar to evaporated milk, then pour into first mixture.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Sift flour, then measure.
  7. Resift with other dry ingredients into first mixture.
  8. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets.
  9. Bake in a moderate oven (375f) about 15 minutes.
