Fricassee of Potatoes

Directions

  1. Place a layer of sliced raw potatoes in bottom of baking dish, season with salt, pepper, and bits of butter; then another layer of potatoes and season the same way, and so on until you have the quantity desired.
  2. Then cover the whole with milk, place in the oven, and bake until a delicate brown.
