Fancy Frank Fry

Yield: 4 - 6 servings

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Slit franks lengthwise, but don't cut completely through.
  2. Fill with fillings.
  3. Wrap strip of bacon tightly around each frank, covering slit well.
  4. Pin with pieces of toothpick.
  5. Place in cold skillet.
  6. Fry over medium heat, turning often, until bacon is crisp.
  7. Pour off fat.
  8. Add tomato sauce, sugar, and mustard.
  9. Blend well.
  10. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
