Dutch Noodle Cheese Ring

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Boil noodles in salted water until tender.
  2. Drain and place in well-greased ring mold.
  3. Melt the butter, add flour and blend smooth.
  4. Stir in milk and cook, stirring constantly until it thickens.
  5. Add seasoning and cheese cut in small pieces.
  6. Cook until cheese melts.
  7. To 1/4 of the sauce add the well-beaten eggs and mix well.
  8. Pour this over the noodles.
  9. Set mold in pan of hot water and bake in moderate (350f) oven 45 minutes.
  10. Unmold on large platter, pour over the remaining hot cheese sauce.
  11. Fill center with peas, and carrots or spinach.
